Although there will be an exceptional week of activities for Pride in Cork this week, we know that not everyone will be able to attend.

is a cult classic from the 90s. It is a satirical teen drama in which Natasha Lyonne of Orange is the New Black plays a teenager sent to a rehabilitation center by her parents who think she is a lesbian. Although meant to be funny, it has a very strong message.
Marsha P Johnson was a key player in the 1969 Stonewall Uprising and is a hugely influential figure in the LGBTQ+ community. This documentary follows the story of his life and the cold case of his sudden death. It’s a deeply moving, yet educational and informative story about the roots of Pride.
is packed with a star-studded cast that includes Robin Williams, Dianne Wiest and Gene Hackman. He received Oscar and Golden Globe nominations in 1997 and has been a fan favorite ever since. It tells the story of a gay cabaret owner and his drag queen partner who must pretend to be straight to seduce the parents of their son’s future spouse.
is a six-episode Swedish teen drama that premiered on Netflix in 2021. It is based in a fictional boarding school, Hillerska and follows the story of Prince Wilhelm of Sweden. Wilhelm begins a romance with a schoolmate, Simon Eriksson and the series follows the trials and tribulations of their budding romance.
is one of the most famous LGBTQ+ productions of the past three decades. It is a poignant portrayal of life in New York City in the 1980s. It shows the lives of African American, Latino, gay, and transgender communities at the time and the prom culture they were a part of.
