St. Stephen’s Ministry Hosts “Vogue Gala” for HIV/AIDS Awareness
AUGUSTA (WJBF) – St. Stephen’s Ministry is hosting a party at CSRA to raise funds for members of our community who live with HIV/AIDS every day.
The ‘Vogue Gala’ is set to take place on April 16and at 7:00 a.m. at 600 Broad Street.
This event will feature the one and only Nikki Haris. Ms Haris sang for pop icon Madonna for 18 years before deciding to focus on motherhood and a solo career.
Joining Ms. Haris are Augusta’s own drag royalty, Alexiya St. Martin, Vonna Jae and Chanel Cartier, as well as local artist, Baruti Tucker, live painting. Guests can also participate in a silent auction.

St. Stephen’s Ministry, originally founded to provide direct services to people living with HIV, has helped CSRA members meet their needs for housing, transportation, food, medical care and money since 1991. On June 30, 2020, St. Stephen’s closed as a direct service provider as the Board thoughtfully discerned a new direction for the future, to reflect the changing needs of the community .
